1. Purpose of Nusrah

Nusrah is primarily a marriage-focused matchmaking platform.

The purpose of Nusrah is to:

• Connect people who are genuinely interested in marriage.
• Facilitate respectful introductions between potential spouses.
• Allow users to create marriage-oriented profiles.
• Provide tools for searching and discovering compatible potential partners.
• Facilitate communication between consenting users.
• Promote responsible, respectful and transparent relationships.
• Provide a safer digital environment for people seeking marriage.

Nusrah is not intended primarily for casual dating, sexual relationships, entertainment, prostitution, escort services or short-term relationships.

Users are expected to join with genuine intentions compatible with the purpose of the platform.

2. Eligibility

To use Nusrah, you must:

1. Be legally permitted to use an online service in your jurisdiction.
2. Meet the minimum age requirement established by Nusrah and applicable law.
3. Provide accurate registration information.
4. Have genuine intentions to seek a serious relationship leading to marriage.
5. Not be prohibited from using the service under applicable law.
6. Not create an account on behalf of another person without authorization.

Nusrah is strictly an adult service.

Anyone under the minimum permitted age is prohibited from creating or maintaining an account.

3. Marriage Intention

Because Nusrah is a marriage-focused platform, users are expected to represent their intentions honestly.

You must not:

• Pretend to be looking for marriage when your actual intention is otherwise.
• Use Nusrah primarily for casual sexual relationships.
• Manipulate users into emotional or financial relationships.
• Maintain a profile for entertainment or experimentation where it violates these Terms.
• Mislead another person regarding your marital intentions.

Nusrah cannot guarantee that every user has genuine marriage intentions. Users are responsible for exercising reasonable judgment and verifying information before making personal decisions.

4. User Account

You may be required to create an account to access certain features.

You agree to:

• Provide truthful information.
• Keep your login credentials confidential.
• Maintain only the accounts permitted by Nusrah.
• Update your information when it changes.
• Notify Nusrah if you suspect unauthorized access.
• Take responsibility for activity occurring through your account.

You must not sell, rent, transfer or give your account to another person.

Nusrah may suspend or terminate accounts that contain false, misleading, fraudulent or abusive information.

5. Profile Information

Users may be able to provide information including:

• Name or preferred name.
• Age.
• Gender.
• Location.
• Education.
• Occupation.
• Family information.
• Marital status.
• Religious or cultural preferences where voluntarily provided.
• Marriage expectations.
• Lifestyle preferences.
• Photographs.
• Biography.
• Partner preferences.

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you publish is accurate and appropriate.

You must not impersonate another person.

You must not upload another person’s photograph or personal information without appropriate authorization.

6. Marital Status

Users must accurately disclose their marital status where the platform requests such information.

You must not falsely claim to be:

• Single;
• Divorced;
• Widowed;
• Separated; or
• Otherwise available for marriage.

If Nusrah provides a marital-status verification feature, users agree to provide truthful information and, where legally appropriate, supporting documentation.

Nusrah reserves the right to restrict or remove accounts where material information concerning marital status appears fraudulent or misleading.

7. Identity Verification

Nusrah may provide optional or mandatory identity-verification systems.

Verification may involve:

• Phone verification;
• Email verification;
• National identification documents;
• Passport or other lawful identification;
• Selfie or photograph verification;
• Other appropriate verification methods.

Verification does not constitute a guarantee that a person is safe, honest, financially responsible, unmarried, compatible or suitable for marriage.

Users must independently exercise reasonable care.

8. Communication Between Users

Nusrah may provide:

• Private messaging;
• Match requests;
• Interest notifications;
• Voice or video communication;
• Introductions;
• Compatibility tools;
• Blocking and reporting tools.

Communication must remain respectful.

You must not use Nusrah to send:

• Threats;
• Harassment;
• Hate speech;
• Sexual abuse;
• Unwanted sexual content;
• Extortion;
• Fraudulent requests;
• Spam;
• Malware;
• Repeated unwanted communications.

Users may block or report another user at any time.

9. Prohibited Activities

You must not use Nusrah for:

9.1 Fraud

You may not deceive users for financial, personal or other unlawful benefit.

9.2 Financial Scams

You must not use a romantic or marriage relationship to solicit money, loans, gifts, investments, cryptocurrency, mobile-money transfers or other financial assistance through deception.

9.3 Impersonation

You must not pretend to be another individual, organization, public figure or institution.

9.4 Sexual Exploitation

You must not use Nusrah for prostitution, sexual exploitation, trafficking or other unlawful sexual activity.

9.5 Harassment

You must not stalk, threaten, intimidate, blackmail, shame or repeatedly contact someone who has asked you to stop.

9.6 Explicit Content

You must not upload or distribute unlawful, exploitative or sexually explicit content.

9.7 Spam

You must not use Nusrah to distribute unsolicited advertisements, pyramid schemes, fraudulent offers or mass messages.

9.8 Illegal Activities

You must not use Nusrah to facilitate or participate in unlawful activities.

Nusrah may report suspected criminal conduct to relevant authorities where required or legally permitted.

10. Financial Safety

Nusrah strongly advises users not to send money to someone they have met online solely because of a romantic or marriage relationship.

A user should be particularly cautious where another person:

• Claims to have an emergency;
• Requests money for travel;
• Requests money for medical treatment;
• Requests payment for visas;
• Requests investment funds;
• Requests mobile-money transfers;
• Requests bank transfers;
• Promises marriage in exchange for financial assistance;
• Threatens to end the relationship unless money is sent.

Nusrah does not guarantee the financial honesty of any user.

Nusrah is not responsible for financial losses arising from transactions between users.

11. Meeting in Person

Nusrah encourages users to take appropriate precautions before meeting someone they met online.

Users should consider:

• Communicating sufficiently before meeting.
• Verifying the person’s identity.
• Informing a trusted family member or friend.
• Meeting in a public place.
• Maintaining independent transportation.
• Avoiding sharing unnecessary financial information.
• Avoiding sending money.
• Leaving immediately if they feel unsafe.

Users meet each other at their own risk.

Nusrah does not guarantee the conduct, identity, intentions or safety of any user.

12. Family, Guardian and Marriage Involvement

Nusrah recognizes that marriage decisions may involve families, guardians, religious leaders or other trusted persons depending on the user’s beliefs, culture and circumstances.

Where appropriate, users may choose to involve:

• Parents;
• Guardians;
• Family members;
• Religious leaders;
• Marriage counsellors;
• Other trusted persons.

Nusrah may provide optional features designed to facilitate responsible family or guardian involvement.

However, Nusrah does not determine whether a particular marriage is legally or religiously valid.

13. Respect and Dignity

All users must treat other users with dignity and respect.

Discrimination, humiliation, threats, abusive language, bullying, harassment and intimidation are prohibited.

Users must respect another person’s:

• Boundaries;
• Privacy;
• Decisions;
• Beliefs;
• Personal circumstances;
• Right to decline communication;
• Right to end communication.

A user does not owe another user a relationship, meeting, marriage or response.

14. Photos and Content

You retain ownership of content that you lawfully upload to Nusrah.

By uploading content, you grant Nusrah the limited permission necessary to host, display, store, process and deliver that content as part of providing the service.

You must have the right to upload the content.

You must not upload:

• Someone else’s private photographs without permission;
• False identity documents;
• Defamatory material;
• Illegal content;
• Content containing exploitation of children;
• Content intended to harass or threaten another person.

Nusrah may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

15. Privacy and Personal Data

Nusrah may collect and process personal information necessary to provide its services.

Because a marriage platform may involve sensitive personal information, Nusrah will establish appropriate measures for protecting users’ information.

The processing of personal data shall be governed by Nusrah’s Privacy Policy and applicable Tanzanian data-protection requirements, including the Personal Data Protection Act, 2022.

Users should carefully consider the information they disclose publicly.

Do not publish sensitive information such as:

• Passwords;
• PINs;
• Bank credentials;
• Mobile-money PINs;
• Private identification numbers;
• Security codes;
• Confidential documents.

16. Location Information

Nusrah may use location information to provide relevant matchmaking features where the user permits such processing.

Nusrah should not publicly expose a user’s precise location unless:

1. The user has expressly chosen to disclose it; or
2. Disclosure is required or permitted by law.

Users should avoid publishing their exact residential address publicly.

17. Matching System

Nusrah may use information provided by users to recommend potential matches.

Matching may consider factors such as:

• Age;
• Location;
• Marriage goals;
• Education;
• Occupation;
• Interests;
• Lifestyle;
• Religious or cultural preferences where voluntarily provided;
• Family preferences;
• Other compatibility information.

A match recommendation does not constitute a guarantee of compatibility, suitability, character or successful marriage.

18. No Guarantee of Marriage

Nusrah provides matchmaking and communication services.

Nusrah does not guarantee that:

• You will find a spouse;
• A particular match will respond;
• A relationship will succeed;
• A relationship will result in marriage;
• A user’s information is completely accurate;
• A user is financially responsible;
• A user is suitable for you.

Marriage decisions remain entirely between the individuals involved.

19. Safety Reporting

Users are encouraged to report suspicious or harmful behavior.

Reports may concern:

• Fake profiles;
• Impersonation;
• Fraud;
• Financial scams;
• Harassment;
• Threats;
• Sexual exploitation;
• Underage users;
• Stolen photographs;
• False marital status;
• Other violations of these Terms.

Nusrah may investigate reports and may take appropriate action, including:

• Warning a user;
• Restricting an account;
• Removing content;
• Suspending an account;
• Permanently terminating an account;
• Preserving relevant information where lawful;
• Reporting matters to appropriate authorities where required or legally permitted.

20. Blocking

Users may be provided with the ability to block other users.

When you block someone, Nusrah may restrict communication or interaction between the accounts.

Blocking does not necessarily prevent Nusrah from processing information necessary for security, legal compliance or investigation.

21. Account Suspension and Termination

Nusrah may suspend or terminate an account where it reasonably believes that the user:

• Violated these Terms;
• Provided false information;
• Engaged in fraud;
• Harassed another user;
• Created a safety risk;
• Misused the platform;
• Engaged in illegal activity;
• Attempted to circumvent platform security;
• Created multiple unauthorized accounts;
• Used the platform for purposes inconsistent with Nusrah’s mission.

Users may also close their accounts at any time, subject to any applicable legal or contractual obligations.

22. Premium Services and Payments

Nusrah may offer free and paid services.

Paid services may include:

• Premium membership;
• Enhanced profile visibility;
• Advanced search;
• Additional communication features;
• Verification services;
• Matchmaking services;
• Other premium features.

Before purchasing a paid service, users will be informed of applicable prices and payment terms.

Unless otherwise stated, payments are made for access to the relevant digital service and are not a guarantee of a match or marriage.

Refunds shall be governed by Nusrah’s applicable refund policy and mandatory consumer-protection requirements.

23. Third-Party Services

Nusrah may integrate third-party services such as:

• Payment providers;
• SMS providers;
• Email services;
• Identity-verification services;
• Hosting providers;
• Analytics services;
• Communication services.

Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies.

Nusrah is not responsible for services independently operated by third parties.

24. Intellectual Property

The Nusrah name, logo, website design, software, graphics, text, trademarks and other platform materials may be owned by or licensed to Nusrah.

You may not:

• Copy the platform;
• Reproduce the Nusrah brand without authorization;
• Reverse engineer the platform where prohibited;
• Sell or redistribute Nusrah content;
• Use Nusrah’s trademarks without permission.

25. Platform Availability

Nusrah will make reasonable efforts to maintain the availability and security of the platform.

However, Nusrah does not guarantee that the platform will always:

• Be available;
• Operate without interruption;
• Be completely error-free;
• Be completely secure;
• Be free from malicious attacks.

Maintenance, technical failures, security incidents and circumstances beyond Nusrah’s reasonable control may temporarily affect the service.

26. User Responsibility

You are responsible for your own decisions and interactions.

You should independently verify important information before:

• Beginning a serious relationship;
• Sharing sensitive information;
• Sending money;
• Travelling to meet someone;
• Introducing someone to your family;
• Entering into an engagement;
• Entering into a marriage.

Nusrah is a matchmaking platform and does not act as a guarantor, guardian, financial adviser, marriage registrar or representative of any user.

27. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Nusrah shall not be responsible for losses arising from:

• User-to-user relationships;
• False information supplied by users;
• Financial scams committed by users;
• Personal decisions made by users;
• Meetings between users;
• Marriage or relationship outcomes;
• User-generated content;
• Third-party services;
• Unauthorized conduct of another user.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

28. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses or liabilities arising from your unlawful use of Nusrah, violation of these Terms, infringement of another person’s rights, or misuse of the platform.

29. Legal Compliance

Users must comply with applicable laws and regulations when using Nusrah.

Nusrah will operate its services in accordance with applicable Tanzanian laws and other applicable legal requirements.

This includes applicable requirements concerning personal-data protection and cyber-related offences. Tanzania’s Personal Data Protection Act, 2022 establishes requirements concerning collection and processing of personal data, while the Cybercrimes Act addresses offences involving computer systems and information and communication technologies.

30. Changes to These Terms

Nusrah may update these Terms from time to time.

When material changes are made, Nusrah may provide reasonable notice through the website, application, email or other appropriate communication.

Your continued use of Nusrah after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, subject to applicable law.

31. Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, subject to applicable jurisdictional requirements.

Any dispute should first, where reasonably possible, be addressed through good-faith communication and Nusrah’s available complaint-resolution process.

Nothing in these Terms prevents a user from exercising rights available under applicable law.

33. User Acceptance

By selecting “I Agree”, creating an account, accessing or using Nusrah.co.tz, you confirm that:

• I have read and understood these Terms of Use.
• I meet the applicable minimum age requirement.
• I am using Nusrah for a genuine marriage-oriented purpose.
• The information I provide is truthful and accurate to the best of my knowledge.
• I understand that Nusrah does not guarantee marriage or the conduct of another user.
• I understand that I must not use Nusrah for fraud, harassment, exploitation or other unlawful purposes.
• I agree to respect the privacy, dignity and decisions of other users.
• I understand that I am responsible for exercising reasonable caution when communicating with or meeting another user.
